Department: 34401 Atrium Health Lake Norman – Nursing: Medical/Surgical Status: Full Time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule Details 3, 12‑hour night shifts per week Holiday rotation Weekend rotation Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 This position is sign‑on bonus eligible. Job Summary The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served. Expectations Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire 2 years of Med Surg or Tele experience preferred Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
