Develop your skills and grow within Food & Beverage and hospitality. What You'll Do Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and genuine approach. Prepare and serve cocktails, bourbon, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Recommend drinks based on guest preferences and provide knowledgeable service. Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the POS system. Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions. Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready throughout the shift. Complete opening, closing, and daily bar duties. Maintain proper inventory of liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies. Follow responsible alcohol-service practices and all applicable laws. Verify identification and ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages. Respond to guest questions and requests with professionalism and urgency. Work closely with the Food & Beverage and hotel teams to provide seamless service. Assist with special events, promotions, and other hotel Food & Beverage activities. Stay informed about hotel amenities and Louisville attractions to assist guests. Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and service standards. Qualifications You may be a great fit if you: Have previous bartending or beverage-service experience. Enjoy creating genuine connections with guests. Have a passion for cocktails, bourbon, wine, beer, and hospitality. Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Can confidently operate a POS system and handle payments. Are dependable, professional, and team-oriented. Can work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Meet all Kentucky requirements for serving alcoholic beverages. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications Upscale restaurant, cocktail bar, boutique hotel, or luxury hospitality experience.
