Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year, working with elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time position runs from 6:45 am to 12:15 pm, offering the chance to provide dedicated support within a lively and caring elementary school environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-age children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering student growth and advocacy for student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students
- Develop personalized therapy plans and maintain detailed progress documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Conduct screenings and participate in multidisciplinary meetings when required
- Support a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere within the school community
