Job Title:Mental Health Therapist IPay Range:$45-$55/ HourlyJob Description:$45 -$55/Hr + Up | Full -Time | Los Angeles, CA | School-Based | 2026-2027 school year| New Grads encouraged to apply|About the Role: Provide individual, group, and/or parent counseling as outlined in each student's IEP. Create and manage referral assessments for Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS). Collaborate with school staff to interpret assessment results and develop appropriate interventions.Work closely with teachers, school administrators/directors, and other school personnel to address students' needs and provide insights on mental health issues. Prepare reports and documentation for school administration and external agencies as required.Confidentiality: Ensure client information is kept confidential and obtain necessary permissions for information sharing.Supervision: Participate in weekly supervision/consultation meetings with other therapists.Continuing Education: Complete all Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) mandated continuing education and renew licenses as required.What We're Looking For:Must Have:Licensed in either AMFT, ACSW, APCCDOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearanceStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationPreferred:One year of experience in speech therapyDepartment of Education certificationKnowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programsExperience with school-based caseload managementAbout Edlogical A Member of Point Quest Group: Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
