Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance Technician - Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM-10:30 PM Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Additional technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or related fields is a plus. Welding certifications or maintenance-related certifications are beneficial but not required. Job Duties Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial production equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues. Repair and replace motors, pumps, electrical components, and defective machine parts. Read and troubleshoot equipment using electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics. Perform Stick and MIG welding repairs as needed. Troubleshoot and maintain PLC, HMI, and VFD-controlled equipment. Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks. Ensure all equipment operates according to manufacturer and company specifications. Operate CNC machinery through screen interfaces when required. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Follow all company safety procedures and perform additional duties as assigned. Experience Requirements Prior industrial maintenance experience required. Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and pumps. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic schematics, and mechanical blueprints. Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs. Knowledge of AC 3-phase Delta and WYE electrical systems. Ability to perform Stick and MIG welding repairs. CNC machine operation experience preferred. Glass manufacturing industry experience is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-75 pounds as needed. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb, and work in industrial environments. Ability to work safely around moving machinery, electrical systems, and production equipment.
