Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions, including strokes, hypertension, and COPD.
• Administer medications and titrate drips such as Lasix and Heparin in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a 31-bed MedSurg/Oncology unit to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Coordinate with charge nurse, nurse aids, and tele/monitor techs for comprehensive patient management.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain clinical competencies and adhere to unit protocols.
• Float to other MedSurg units as needed, ensuring coverage and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license and ability to practice in North Dakota.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
• Experience preferred in trach and BiPAP care, but not required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and fulfill schedule requirements.
• First-time travelers accepted; must maintain professional conduct and adapt to unit culture.
