Position Overview

The Banding position’s primary responsible for preparing and applying custom banding and trim on drapery products. In this hands-on role, you will apply custom banding and trim, sew components like tabs and Euro-hems, fabricate tiebacks, and prepare drapery products for the next stage of production. This role requires precision, focus, and a commitment to quality.

What you'll do

• Apply custom banding and trim to drapery products with precision
• Fabricate tiebacks and sew components, including tabs, Euro-hems, and stiffeners
• Insert chain weights and prepare ripplefold snap tape as required
• Read and follow work orders to ensure accurate production
• Inspect cuts and finished products to maintain high-quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times
• Cross-train in other production tasks to support the team
• All other duties as assigned

Who you are

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of fabrics or willingness to learn
• Ability to operate sewing machines and hand tools (training provided)
• Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, and instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 25–40 lbs (assistance for heavier items)
• Ability to use hands for repetitive sewing and production tasks
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and crouch as needed
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read labels, measurements, and work tickets accurately
• Color vision test required (if applicable)
