Licensed Veterinary Technician - Ramsgate Veterinary Clinic - TX

Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician Location: Ramsgate Veterinary Clinic – Woodway, Texas Overview We are a growing, collaborative team working out of a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. We are seeking a Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician who is passionate about patient care, teamwork, and continuous learning. Responsibilities Work side by side with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care and client experience Assist with patient exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures Prepare and monitor patients for surgery, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery care Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed Provide attentive nursing care to hospitalized patients, including IV catheter placement and fluid therapy Perform venipuncture and support diagnostic testing Operate and maintain equipment such as digital radiography and in-house lab analyzers Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Qualifications Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Texas Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent Strong clinical and technical skills, including anesthesia monitoring and patient care Confidence in animal handling and restraint with a compassionate approach Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and detail-oriented Strong communication and teamwork skills A positive attitude and a genuine passion for veterinary medicine Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour based on experience Flexible scheduling options Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Mental health and wellness resources Generous paid time off Student loan assistance Personalized mentorship and career development Specialty training and continuing education opportunities A supportive team culture that values growth, collaboration, and balance Equal Opportunity Statement Ramsgate Veterinary Clinic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
