Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our APP Hospitalist (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) , you will join a dynamic and established team at CHI St. Joseph Health in Bryan-College Station, Texas. Every day you will manage a predictable 16-18 patient census , working closely with supervising physicians to provide focused inpatient care. Your role will encompass comprehensive patient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges. To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active Texas license. Job Requirements

Required:

• Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Active or eligible license in the state of Texas .
• Strong clinical skills in inpatient medicine , including comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and management (under physician supervision).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented Hospitalist environment , adapting to a structured 7-on/7-off schedule.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care and ensuring patient satisfaction within a rapid response team supported model.
• DEA registration or eligibility for registration.

Pay Range
$123,178 - $136,864 /year
