TravelNurseSource is working with IMCS Group Inc to find a qualified CVICU RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27101!

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Yrs CC experience.
Traveler Experience: no first time travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Accepted at same rate for this need.
Must have CVICU experience or open heart experience.
Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Isolation Precautions/PPE,
Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTS
Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Ventilator Management

JOB DETAILS:
Target Ratios: 1:1 night, 2:1 wknd
Shift: DAYS 06:45-19:15
36 or 48 hours can be offered.
Will accept 13-26 week contracts.
Float Requirement: Yes.
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Post Open Heart Recovery Unit. Also take thoracotomies, esophagogastrectomies and TAVR
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Post Open Heart Recovery Unit. Also take thoracotomies, esophagogastrectomies and TAVR. We take CRRT, Impella and IABP.
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): SBAR, EPIC, PYXIS
SCHEDULING TYPE: SELF
UNIT ORIENTATION: please confirm unit orientation times.
Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.

SCRUBS: Navy or white or a combination of the two.
