Senior Investment Data & Analytics Specialist

Role Overview We’re looking for a sharp, intellectually curious problem‑solver to join our Investment Analytics team. This role thrives in ambiguity, tackles complex questions, and drives solutions that inform portfolio decisions. Responsibilities Own the entire delivery lifecycle of proprietary analytics applications from design to production. Iterate with portfolio managers, analysts, and senior leaders to refine requirements and define outcomes. Propose new tools, build prototypes, and experiment to improve analytics workflows. Work with quant and technology teams to scale analytics to production. Deliver complex analytical applications providing actionable insight. Redesign legacy processes to enforce governance and clarify ambiguous, multi‑system workflows. Integrate new data sources and vendors into investment workflows. Partner with other teams to troubleshoot analytical outputs across performance, risk, and portfolio analytics. Convert ad hoc analyses into repeatable, scalable solutions. Mentor junior team members, share expertise, and support development. Skills & Qualifications 10+ years in hands‑on investment analytics, data, or a related role. History of building proprietary applications alongside vendor systems. Strong fixed‑income expertise (credit, municipals, rates). Experience working with portfolio management and research teams. Insurance asset management experience is a plus. Familiarity with investment performance and attribution methodologies. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with enterprise investment platforms (e.g., Aladdin). Experience with data providers (Bloomberg, S&P, CreditScope, Intex, Octus, etc.). Ability to enhance workflows by integrating AI tools. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong curiosity and willingness to challenge convention. Effective communicator to both technical and investment audiences. Ownership mentality and commitment to shepherd delivery from start to finish. Compensation Salary range: $158,000.00 – $205,000.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Background investigation required for the offered position.
