A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) located in Rumford, Maine. This full-time night shift position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing care for a diverse patient population in a critical access hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Rumford, Maine
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Education and Experience: RN with 2 years of ER experience; Location: Maine; Minimum experience: 0 years
• Preferred Qualifications: Triage experience, ability to handle all ages, illnesses, and injuries; exceptional skill level as the ER team is small with only two RNs on duty, and the hospital is the only one within 40 miles of a trauma center.
• Additional Information: No float rotation is required. The unit has approximately 25 beds, with patient ratios of 1:2.5. Equipment used includes Omnicell, Epic, and SBAR for communication. The hospital provides around-the-clock emergency care, primary care, diagnostic services, and surgical support.
