PRESCHOOL TEACHER - PART TIME

Job Description

Job Description

“We’re Not Looking for Just Another Preschool Teacher. We’re Looking for Our Next RGPD Leader.”

Rose Garden Preparatory Day School | Pottstown, PA. Where Children Bloom—and Great Teachers Grow.

Rose Garden Preparatory Day School is looking for an exceptional Preschool Teacher to join our growing team.

We are not simply looking for someone to supervise a classroom. We are looking for an energetic, nurturing, creative, and growth-minded early childhood educator who loves working with young children and wants to become part of an organization where there is room to learn, lead, and advance. The ideal candidate brings positive energy into the classroom, understands that the early years matter tremendously, and takes pride in creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, challenged, and excited to learn.

WHO WE ARE

Rose Garden Preparatory Day School is a Keystone STAR 4 Early Learning Center serving children from infancy through Pre-K in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Our philosophy combines nurturing relationships, purposeful play, Montessori-inspired learning experiences, Kindergarten readiness, independence, literacy, social-emotional development, and strong family partnerships. At Rose Garden Prep, we believe exceptional early childhood education begins with exceptional teachers.

We invest in educators who want to grow with us.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Our next Preschool Teacher is someone who:

• Genuinely loves working with young children
• Brings enthusiasm, warmth, patience, and positive energy to the classroom
• Is dependable, punctual, organized, and professional
• Wants to grow professionally within an early childhood education organization
• Is creative and excited about making learning engaging
• Understands that preschool should be joyful while intentionally preparing children for kindergarten
• Communicates confidently and respectfully with parents
• Works well as part of a team and welcomes coaching and feedback
• Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what needs to be done
• Understands that classroom appearance, organization, cleanliness, and preparation matter
• Can maintain appropriate boundaries while building loving relationships with children
• Wants to become an important part of the RGPD community—not simply clock in and clock out

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should meet applicable Pennsylvania childcare requirements for the position.

Preferred candidates will have:

• Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related coursework/degree
• Previous experience working with preschool-age children
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families
• Current or obtainable required clearances and certifications
• A commitment to continued professional development

Candidates who are early in their Early Childhood Education careers but demonstrate exceptional potential, professionalism, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
