Some of our favorites being Pedal the Cause, KIDstruction, Big Brothers Big Sisters and more!  ResponsibilitiesProficient in MIG welding and able to pass 3G GMAW testTIG experience a plus but not requiredFabricate underground steel structures used to support electrical conduit raceways Assemble and weld custom fabricated components through accurately reading blueprints/drawings or direction from supervisorsWorking knowledge of welding procedure specifications (WPS)Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drills, ironworkers, and other shop tools Perform metal preparation including measuring, cutting, deburring, grinding, and cleaning materials Assist with bending, fitting, and assembly of fabricated products Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all company safety policies and manufacturing proceduresSupport general shop operations and other fabrication-related duties as assigned  QualificationsPrevious welding experience required Capability to qualifying procedures for carbon steel and aluminum. Ability to read tape measures, shop drawings, and basic fabrication layouts Familiarity with metal fabrication tools and equipment Ability to safely lift materials and work in a manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and positive team-oriented attitude   Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAble to work under pressure and prioritize between competing demandsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to effectively change priorities as needed if urgent needs arise Able to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environmentAbility to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs Ability to pass med fit test for respiratory protection and work in a manufacturing/shop environment around welding and fabrication equipment  Working Environment ☒Office All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
