Leasing Consultant

SUMMARYThe Leasing Consultant is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue growth through a customer-focused leasing experience, while also supporting the property’s brand presence, digital marketing efforts, and resident engagement initiatives. This role blends sales, marketing, and customer experience to create a high-performing and community-driven environment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLeasingDeliver a consultative leasing experience from initial inquiry through move-in, focusing on relationship building and closing conversionsRespond to and manage all prospect traffic (phone, email, chat, social media, and in-person)Conduct property tours aligned with prospect needs and lifestyle preferencesMaintain accurate prospect and leasing data in property management and CRM systemsAchieve leasing, occupancy, and retention goalsStay informed on market trends, competitor pricing, and local demographic factorsOperations & AdministrationProcess applications, lease agreements, renewals, and move-in documentationMaintain accurate records including traffic, leasing activity, and reportsInspect model units, vacant units, and community spaces to ensure readiness and curb appealEnsure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and local regulationsMarketing & Digital PresenceMaintain and actively manage the property’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)Create and post engaging content including photos, videos, reels, and community updatesMonitor and respond to online reviews and reputation platforms in a professional and timely mannerSupport execution of marketing campaigns and outreach strategies to drive trafficShop and monitor competitor properties, including their digital presenceResident Experience & EventsAssist with planning, coordinating, and executing resident events and community engagement activitiesSupport resident retention initiatives by building strong relationships that enhance satisfaction and encourage renewalsRepresent the community brand at events and outreach opportunitiesAdditional ResponsibilitiesComplete required training courses and participate in ongoing professional developmentAssist with office operations and support the community leadership team in daily activities as neededQUALIFICATIONSStrong customer service and sales skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Comfortable using property management systems and digital platforms (Yardi experience preferred)Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentMust have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to operate property equipment and vehicles, including golf carts where applicable*Weekend availability required at most properties.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to perform the physical requirements of the role, which may include moving throughout the property, touring apartment homes, and accessing various areas of the community, with or without reasonable accommodation*At properties that use golf carts, this position is designated as a safety-sensitive position in which a person operating the golf carts must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs as it may constitute a threat to health or safety in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death.Benefits:401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life insuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your householdGenerous PTO plan with flexible use for vacation, sick time, and personal needsPaid holidays + early close days throughout the yearBirthday time off to celebrate your dayParental leaveOngoing training and development opportunities, including support for relevant industry certificationsApartment Rental Discount #J-18808-Ljbffr
