Production Operator

Location: Gurley, AL 35748
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Shift Pattern: 3-2-3 rotating schedule. Days will rotate, and employees will work every other weekend.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Production Operator to support manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will follow all safety procedures, operate equipment, handle materials, and perform general production duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report safety incidents, unsafe acts, and hazardous conditions.
• Weigh and grade powder.
• Load and unload mills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong record-keeping skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb a 4-foot ladder.
• Ability to use power tools, chains, hoists, tuggers, and other equipment as needed.
• Ability to use both hands simultaneously while pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, lifting, stooping, and walking.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and well-coordinated physical movement.
• Ability to lift up to 33 pounds.

Work Environment and Hazards

• Moderate dust exposure.
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment and requires adherence to all safety procedures.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred.
