Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Med Surg RN)
A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Med Surg RN) is needed for an immediate start with a 13-week contract. This position requires the nurse to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including every other weekend and holiday. The role may involve floating to the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6.
Provide high-quality care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit.
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patient vitals.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in patient discharge planning and education.
1-2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
1+ year of recent travel nursing experience.
Experience in telemetry required.
Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
Proficiency in Cerner electronic health records system.
