CA RN - ICU Night Shift
Location: Arcata, CA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM - Three 12-hour shifts weekly
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing to work night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the needs and safety of critically ill patients are met.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to patients in the ICU.
- Monitor vital signs and manage complex medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active California RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Proof of a negative TB screen within the last 12 months.
