Business Development Producer – Video & Audio Production This is a Part Time position in the field of Sales / Marketing / Advertising / PR / Social Media , located in Rahway, NJ . Sound Imagination | Imagination Video is looking for a Business Development Producer to help develop new client relationships for our video, audio, music, and creative production work. We are a multi‑award‑winning production company based in Rahway, NJ, serving clients throughout the NY/NJ tri‑state area and beyond. Our work includes commercials, corporate videos, social media content, jingles, voiceovers, music production, music videos, animation, motion graphics, studio production, and full‑service creative projects for businesses, agencies, nonprofits, and brands. This is a flexible, part‑time, hybrid opportunity for someone who understands video/audio production and is good at opening doors. The focus is business development: identifying potential clients, making introductions, developing relationships, qualifying opportunities, and coordinating with our production team on next steps. This is not an on‑set production role. We are looking for someone who can speak comfortably with business owners, agencies, marketing directors, communications teams, and other decision‑makers about how video and audio production can support their goals. Responsibilities include identifying and reaching out to potential clients, agencies, brands, nonprofits, and businesses; developing warm leads through networking, referrals, outreach, and follow‑up; introducing prospects to Sound Imagination | Imagination Video’s production capabilities; qualifying project needs, budgets, timelines, and decision‑makers; and representing the company in a professional, creative, and relationship‑focused way. Compensation includes a small monthly stipend (as shown) plus commission on booked and collected production work. Commission structure will be discussed during the interview process and documented in writing before work begins. Experience Has experience in video production, media sales, advertising, marketing, agency work, creative services, or business development. Understands the basics of production timelines, budgets, scripting, shooting, post‑production, approvals, and deliverables. Is comfortable reaching out to new contacts and developing relationships over time. Can talk about creative services clearly. Has an existing network of business, agency, nonprofit, corporate, marketing, media, or creative‑services contacts. Is self‑directed, organized, personable, persistent, and comfortable following up. Understands that strong business development is about trust, timing, and fit. Existing relationships with agencies, businesses, nonprofits, automotive/dealership clients, healthcare organizations, education, hospitality, entertainment, or professional service companies would be a strong plus.
