Custodian - 3rd ShiftSalary: $15.19Employment Terms: Full-time position; 3rd shift position working from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. with a half-hour lunch break; This position has a $.50 shift differential for time worked.Department: Custodial Services 3rd ShiftJob Description: The Custodian will perform various custodial duties to include but not limited to the cleaning of restrooms, lounges, offices, classrooms, and corridors in accordance with the standard operating procedures of the department. Skills: Basic communication skills; basic computer skills.Working Conditions: Custodial Services is divided into four shifts: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. Each shift will include a thirty-minute lunch break. This position may work various hours depending on the needs of the department with occasional weekend coverage. This position may be exposed to cold and hot conditions throughout the shift. This position must demonstrate safety responsibility and the ability to wear all personal protective equipment (PPE). This position is considered essential staff. Essential staff provide services that relate directly to the health, safety, and welfare of the University, ensure continuity of key operations, and maintain and protect University properties.
