Job Description

CDL-B SANITATION TRUCK DRIVER - OVERNIGHT SHIFT (Glendale, NY 11385)
Starting Pay: $28.00-$32.87/hr.

JOB DUTIES:

Operate CDL packer trucks safely and efficiently.
Collect and remove waste and recyclable materials from customer locations.
Navigate city streets, high-traffic areas, alleys, and parking lots during assigned routes.
Complete scheduled collection and hauling services in accordance with operational procedures.
Inspect vehicles and report maintenance concerns as needed.
Maintain route and service documentation.
Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures.
Perform physical tasks associated with waste and recycling collection operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

CDL Class B or higher.
Ability to meet applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements.
Experience operating large trucks preferred.
Ability to safely operate sanitation collection vehicles.
Ability to work overnight shifts.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
