Level 3 RN Endoscopy/GI

Job Title: Level 3 RN Endoscopy/GI Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy procedure experience License: Client RN License Certifications: BLS Certification (American Heart Association only), ACLS Certification (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: - Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification - Conscious sedation - Expert IV insertion - Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia - Experience performing intake for GI procedures

Description: Answer patient questions and address their concerns. Observe patient vital signs. Sedate patients before procedures. Recover patients after procedures. Administer the necessary medication to patients. Complete all necessary documentation, including patient notes and discharge documents. Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure. Clean and sterilize equipment before use. Provide assistance to doctors throughout the procedure. Administer IV drips.
