Senior Materials ManagerQISG is hiring a Senior Materials Manager to support a $250M, 286MW power generation EPC project.Position highlights:Long-term project assignment near Midland, TXInitial 2-month training period will be in Eagle Mountain, UTThis is a full-time, permanent QISG position with opportunities to transition to future projects after completionMust be willing to work on project siteTravel and lodging expenses covered by QISGWhat you'll do:Develops and manages industry best material management practices and resources with clientWorks with customer approved local vendors to quickly obtain materials when expedited requests are neededWorks directly with procurement to ensure project materials adhere to construction and delivery schedules, and effectively communicate with client, project team and vendors to obtain the precise material required on timePerforms material take-offs and works with customer, engineering, project management and construction to determine necessary material for project completionManages lead times and material availability by identifying the material construction need dates, order by dates, and material decision points to be included in project schedules;
