Travel Speech Language Pathologist

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of experience and active BLS certification for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Level III Trauma facility in California.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a Speech Pathology unit,
• Level III Trauma facility,
• 10-hour day shifts, every other weekend (EOW),
• Float requirement to a sister facility in Redding, CA as needed,
• Cerner EMR used in this position,
• 13-week assignment,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience required,
• Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted,
• Active CA SLP license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted - license required if applicable,
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire,

Additional Information

• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered,
• Orientation is 12 hours
