Provide courteous assistance to patients and referring physician offices while guiding each through the scheduling/check in process. Job Duties Answers incoming patient calls regarding billing questions. Collect all information required to create a claim; verify accuracy of coding. Work directly with insurance company, healthcare provider and patient to get a claim processed and pain. Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims. Manage Accounts Receivable reports. Qualifications Prior physician billing experience preferred. Basic EMR and Billing software experience preferred. Strong ability to multitask and interact with both patients and physicians. Professional presentation. Works beside physician or mid-level to assist in all aspects of patient care. Skills and Abilities Ability to work in fast paced, high productivity environment. Ability to exercise judgement and make decisions. Excellent communication skills to communicate with physicians, patients and other staff. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Job Duties Assists in all aspects of patient care. Prepares chart, takes medical history, prepares patients for examination and assists physician or mid-level throughout exam. Takes and triages telephone messages from patients and front office staff. Returns all phone calls within 24 hours. Assists in casting and administering Durable Medical Equipment as directed by the physician or mid-level provider. Pulls injections as directed by the physician or mid-level provider. Keeps patient exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, instruments and ensures proper sterilization techniques. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Completion of medical assistant program from an accredited institution. Previous EMR experience preferred. Strong ability to multitask and interact with physicians and patients. Professional presentation. Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories. Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting test results. Skills and Abilities Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, high productivity environment. Possesses knowledge of advanced practice nursing including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology and therapeutics. Possesses knowledge of medical equipment and instruments used to administer patient care. Possesses knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment. Ability to provide patient education in an one on one setting to further treatment plan. Ability to work alongside physician to administer patient care. Job Duties Assess patient clinically by obtaining health history through patient consultation and chart review; assess presenting injury/problem area and perform appropriate physical examination. Orders appropriate diagnostic screening tests. Seeks other information as needed including consultation with physicians and other clinicians for evaluation. Integrates data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan, including identification of any health risks. Develops and implements treatment plan by prescribing/dispensing medications and/or injections in compliance with medical practice guidelines and state laws. Educate patient regarding treatment plan. Work alongside physician and assist in patient care as needed. Qualifications Masters or Doctorate Level degree. Training in orthopedic care preferred. Must possess state license. Provide professional orthopaedic occupational therapy care for clinic patients. Perform clinical tasks and patient care to include evaluation, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, appropriate modalities, splint fabrication, and applicable documentation related to these services. Skills and Abilities Minimum of two years of experience in a physician office or orthopaedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means). Ability to manage multiple patients and administer appropriate modalities. Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and exercise prescription. Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes, L codes, and basic knowledge of Insurance related issues. Working knowledge of simple and complex splinting for the hand, wrist, and elbow. Comfortable effectively using MS Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. Ability to work with Practice Management software. Good communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties. Neat and professional appearance. Job Duties Evaluate and treat patients and complete appropriate documentation in a timely fashion. Supervise technicians. Develop protocols and patient education materials. Participate and help foster an environment of continued learning in our pursuit of clinical excellence. Communicate appropriately with physicians and their staff on patient care issues. Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations. Maintain patient confidentiality; comply with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice. Maintain detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions. Maintain Occupational/Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Tennessee. Maintain Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credentials. Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral level degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university is required. Extensive training in orthopaedic care preferred. Extensive background in splinting fabrication is preferred. Must be licensed in the state of Tennessee. Must have hand therapy certification. Provide professional orthopaedic physical therapy care for clinic patients. Perform clinical tasks and patient care to include evaluation, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, any appropriate modalities, and any documentation related to these activities. Skills and Abilities Minimum of one year of experience in a physician office or orthopaedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means). Ability to manage multiple patients and administer appropriate modalities. Extensive knowledge in anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and exercise prescription. Working knowledge of basic manual therapy techniques. Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes, and basic knowledge of Insurance related issues. Comfortable effectively using MS Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. Ability to work with Practice Management software. Good communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties. Neat and professional appearance. Assist Director in daily operational duties as needed. Remain current with all continuing education requirements. Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations. Maintain patient confidentiality; comply with HIPAA and compliance guidelines. Maintain detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions. Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required. Extensive training in orthopaedic care preferred. Manual Therapy skills preferred. Must be licensed in the state of Tennessee. Assist therapists in providing professional orthopaedic physical therapy care for clinic patients. Perform clinical tasks and patient care including modalities and following exercise programs with patients. Skills and Abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks. Basic knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and exercise techniques (ideal for candidate to be working towards admission into an allied health field). Working knowledge of basic anatomy. Successful completion of PT tech training program. Comfortable using MS Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and computer based exercise programs. Ability to work with Practice Management software with sufficient training as required. Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor. Good communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties. Neat, professional appearance. Job Duties Administer appropriate modalities under the direction of a therapist. Clean and organize as needed to help maintain a neat and orderly clinic. Assist in directing/transferring/transporting patients to the appropriate care area to help maintain an orderly clinic flow. Assist supervisor in daily operational duties as needed. Communicate as directed by a therapist with physicians and their staff regarding patient care issues. Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations as appropriate. Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice. Assist patients in performing their exercise programs. Qualifications While no college degree is required, a Bachelor’s degree in an exercise science or health-related field is preferred. Training/experience in orthopaedic care preferred. Pre-Certification Specialist monitors appropriateness and medical necessity, and provides necessary information for authorization and continued visits. This person will confirm pre-certifications that have been obtained or will obtain pre-certifications if needed. Skills and Abilities Detail orientated. Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in an independent environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Working knowledge of medical billing and managed care. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Job Duties Reviewing information for continued visits management including type and duration of service, authorization and treatment codes, re-authorization and continued visit requirements necessary for ongoing treatment. Responsible for obtaining and communicating pre-authorization as needed per insurance company requirements. Responsible for tracking, obtaining, and extending authorizations from various carries in a timely manner. Verify receipt of all necessary pre-authorization documents prior to the procedure. Qualifications Knowledge of medical terminology. Familiarity with different insurance types. 1 year of pre-certification experience preferred. Provides information to help accurately diagnosis patients by operating radiologic equipment to take images as directed by the physician. Skills and Abilities Understands imaging equipment and X-Ray procedures. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients. Ability to work in fast paced, high productivity environment. Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions. Excellent communication skills. Job Duties Explains imaging procedures to patients and answers questions. Positions patients for imaging while closely monitoring them throughout exam to ensure safety. Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Complies with federal, state and local requirements.
