PCA/HHA

Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional caregiver to provide supportive in-home care and assistance to clients with a range of daily living needs. The ideal candidate is attentive, patient, and committed to helping individuals maintain comfort, dignity, and independence in a safe and respectful environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as directed by the care plan. Provide support with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as appropriate. Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting client independence. Assist with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean care environment. Support medication reminders and other non-clinical tasks as permitted by agency policy and care directives. Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor. Follow care plans, safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and client-specific instructions. Maintain accurate documentation as required by the agency or care setting. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of PCA/HHA training or certification preferred, depending on state or employer requirements. Prior experience in home care, caregiving, or a related support role is an asset. Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, families, and care team members. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a caring, patient demeanor. Ability to follow directions, maintain confidentiality, and respond appropriately to changing needs. Physical ability to perform caregiving duties, which may include standing, lifting, bending, and assisting with transfers.
