As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for members, visitors, and employees. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, members, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of financial institution facilities, parking areas, ATM areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws. Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable licensing and firearm regulations, and complete accurate activity and incident reports. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
