Hours: 4 10-hour shifts 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM; Rotating weekends and holidays

Location:   Henry Ford Medical Center - Sterling Heights 3500 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310 

Henry Ford Medical Center – Sterling Heights is a full-service medical center with providers specializing in adult and pediatric primary care, as well as allergy, cardiology, orthopedics, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, vascular surgery and sleep disorders. Other on-site services include laboratory, radiology and a pharmacy. Also offered at this site is a 24/7 emergency department and a walk-in clinic for non-emergency medical concerns.

Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide compassionate, quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will support patients and their families by delivering expert care, educating them on health matters, and coordinating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes. Your work ensures that every patient receives the care they need to thrive.

What You Will Do

• Provide compassionate patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
• Maintain certifications and stay current with clinical knowledge and best practices.

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit setting
