Job Type: Full-Time (Company Driver)

Job Description:
Tex Trail Transport is hiring experienced CDL Drivers to operate and move flatbed trailers in a yard environment, with potential for local driving as needed. This role requires hands-on work securing loads and maintaining safety standards at all times.

Available Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM 4:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive tractor-trailer combination vehicles safely over various distances
• Move and position flatbed trailers within the yard
• Perform strapping, tarping, chaining, and proper load securement
• Maintain accurate electronic logs using Geotab (E-logs)
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Requirements:

• Valid CDL (Class A preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years CDL driving experience
• Clean driving record (no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years)
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
• Experience with load securement (straps, chains, tarps)
• Strong knowledge of basic truck maintenance and automotive procedures
• Must have a smartphone available at all times
