ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-level care in a fast-paced environment. The position involves working night shifts and may include floating to telemetry units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care and support to patients in the ICU.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in patient education and family support initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.
- Current ACLS certification is mandatory.
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred.
- Previous experience with open-heart surgery cases is preferred.
- Experience with Impella devices is preferred.
This position involves night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with requirements to work every other weekend and holiday. Flexibility and adaptability are essential due to the floating requirement to telemetry units.
