Bar Lab LLC
A barista's responsibilities include:
- Customer service Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing a friendly and engaging experience
- Beverage preparation Making coffee, espresso, tea, and other drinks using a variety of techniques and equipment
- Cash handling Recording sales, operating cash registers, and adhering to cash handling policies
- Cleanliness Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and keeping equipment clean and sanitized
- Customer education Educating customers about the coffee menu and answering their questions
- Training Participating in regular training to learn new recipes and broaden coffee knowledge
- Communication Recommending new menu items and communicating customer feedback to managers
- Safety Complying with health and safety regulations and following safe food handling procedures
