Specialty Opportunity – Lymphedema Care Must be a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and provide specialized Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) to residents. Collaborate with the rehab team to create individualized care plans and educate residents and caregivers on lymphedema management. Location 730 Courtland St, Orlando, FL 32804 Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited physical therapy program and passing the American Board of Physical Therapy exam. Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a physical therapist in Florida. Prior experience in physical therapy is preferred. Member of the state and national American Physical Therapy Association is preferred. Professional attitude and appearance. Proficient administrative and public relations skills. Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in physical therapy. Thorough knowledge of the possible hazards to patients during treatment and necessary precautionary and remedial measures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and obtain their cooperation in the treatment prescribed. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the medical staff and other personnel. Ability to understand, interpret, and adopt a physician’s written or oral directions and to recommend treatment programs and outline expected benefits regarding physical therapy. Demonstrate emotional stability to cope with the demands of both patients and employees. Maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
