Licensed Practical Nurse for Hospice Visits BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team in the North Jersey Hospice office, located in North Bergen, NJ for per diem visits. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in all of North Jersey (Including Essex, Union, Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Middlesex and Somerset counties). Availability & Compensation Minimum of 2 weekdays availability required 1-2 holidays per year mandatory No on call required Must be willing to cover any county assignments will vary Weekly pay Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $38-$41 per hour This is visiting position‑reliable transportation needed Bilingual Spanish a plus Benefits Medical, dental and vision, mileage reimbursement; weekly pay and direct deposit; one‑on‑one training; recognition programs; referral bonuses; 401(k) with company match; and opportunities for career advancement. Responsibilities Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories. Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care. Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager. Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders. Performing client assessments as necessary. Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends. Qualifications A current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in NJ. A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience. Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred. Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
