Material Handler Opening 1st Shift in Liberty, NC

Americhem manufactures and sells thermoplastic color compounds and is looking for a Material Handler in Liberty, NC. The Material Handler verifies the receipt and transportation of raw materials and manufactured products to ensure conformance to customer specifications. This position is an excellent fit for those interested in a hands-on role in a production environment!

Shift: 1st (12pm to 8:00pm)

Pay: Pay starting at $17-$20 an hour and increases with experience.

Responsibilities of Material Handler:

• Prepares and inspects all finished goods for shipment according to appropriate specifications.
• Verifies finished goods according to procedures.
• Uses forklift in a safe and efficient manner to transport and store materials to proper locations.
• Plans shipment by ensuring proper labeling, packaging, paperwork, and transportation of product according to procedures.
• Performs manual repacking of materials based on customer specifications.

Material Handler Requirements/Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing/production preferred.
