Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) ready to make an impact in schools across the Houston area for the 2026–2027 academic year. Several school locations have full-time openings, including positions at elementary, middle, and high school campuses. This contract role is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic professionals looking to deliver high-quality services to students in a diverse and supportive school environment.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Current, active Texas SLP or SLPA license (SLPA candidates must already have a license; supervision hours will not be provided)
- School-based experience is required for all applicants
- On-site availability only; no telepractice roles available
- CFYs are not eligible for these positions
- Full-time availability for 37.5 hours per week
- SLPAs must be able to work independently within their licensure restrictions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students, collaborating with educators, parents, and other school professionals
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students’ communication development and maximize their participation in an academic setting
- Maintain compliance with all district and state guidelines
- Travel between assigned campuses as needed (reliable transportation required)
