Bus Driver
The Triad Community Unit School District #2 is looking for a Bus Driver. This position reports to the Transportation Manager. The job responsibilities include riding assigned routes to learn them, substitifying for a regular route bus driver as needed, obeying all traffic laws, observing all mandatory rules and safety regulations for school buses, performing a pre-trip inspection, maintaining discipline on the bus, keeping the bus clean, adhering to the assigned time schedule and route, discharging students only at authorized stops, exercising responsible leadership during out-of-district school trips or in times of emergency, transporting only authorized students, reporting all accidents, and keeping records of all regular and special trips.
Qualifications include a valid license to drive a bus, passing a yearly physical and drug screen, and complying with random drug testing and other health requirements as specified by the State and the Board.
