Radiation Therapist
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Join our team as a Radiation Therapist, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for administering therapeutic radiation treatment in accordance with prescribed protocols, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring patient safety throughout the treatment process.
Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
- Monitor and support patients during sessions and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop optimal treatment plans.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment processes and safety measures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation therapy.
- ARRT certifications (Radiography and Therapy) are required.
- BLS certification required.
- Active Maryland State License or pending application accepted.
