Position Highlights

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Sono Tech / Ultrasound Specialist to enrich our collaborative imaging team and provide exceptional care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology while working alongside a compassionate group of clinicians, helping to deliver invaluable insights to patients and their families through precise imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, effectively communicating each step of the process
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outputs
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, giving immediate feedback on any malfunctions
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within the electronic medical records system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and practices

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent is required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is an advantage
