About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Pyramid Consulting, Inc. to find a qualified OR RN in Calais, Maine, 04619!

• Provide safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care throughout the perioperative period.
• Perform both  scrub and circulating RN responsibilities .
• Assist in the recovery room/PACU as needed.
• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing staff, and the perioperative team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold organizational mission, vision, and values.
• Provide appropriate nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited  School of Nursing
• Active Maine RN license
• BLS required
• ACLS required for PACU ; may be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or perioperative experience
• Basic computer skills
• CNOR preferred
• Must be comfortable working both  Scrub & Circulator roles.
