Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' needs and devise individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that therapy accommodates clients' specific goals.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, thereby offering an adaptable approach based on client circumstances.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care and ensure that all aspects of clients' needs are addressed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring compliance with best practices.

• Stay informed about emerging trends and research in mental health, participating in ongoing training and professional development workshops to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing counseling services, ideally in a diverse and clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines, legal regulations, and best practices for counseling.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport and trust with clients.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to team dynamics and client care.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or significant experience in specific areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on your caseload and experience.
