MEP Drafter

Job Summary Our client, a long-standing Mechanical Contractor in central FL, seeks a detail-oriented CAD/BIM Draftsman with 3+ years of experience to drive the coordination and detailing of commercial mechanical and plumbing systems. In this role, you will take ownership of detailed 2D/3D layouts, shop drawings, and clash detection using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks. Location: Port Orange, FL | Job Type: Permanent | Salary: $98,000 - 114,000 per year | Work Hours: 8am to 4pm | Education: No degree required. Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP Develop coordinated MEP layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings; maintain Revit families Assist with BIM modeling and clash detection coordination Be familiar with Navisworks, ACC, and BIM360 Glue AutoCAD MEP Fabrication/Revit Fabrication parts experience a must Coordinate with prefab, fabrication, and field installation teams Qualifications 3+ years of experience with CAD drafting Experience using Revit MEP on commercial construction, specifically plumbing Knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems Ability to read construction documents and blueprints Understanding of BIM coordination processes preferred Benefits Vacation Holidays Sick days Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision care plan Life insurance
