Job Description
Job Title: Clinical Dietitian
Profession: Dietitian

Experience: Minimum of two years clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian, including at least one year in a specialty area. Pediatric experience required. ICU and nutrition support experience preferred.
License: Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD)
Certifications: Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN) in Maryland


Must-Have:
Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge of food science, biochemistry, physiology, management science, behavioral science, and social science as applied to human nutrition.
Analytical skills to assess patient conditions, plan suitable diets, and evaluate responses.
Substantial interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration.
Ability to counsel and educate patients and teach students.
Ability to assist in supervising support staff and students.
Strong communication skills to interpret age-specific responses.
Ability to use a computer keyboard for data input and retrieval.


Description:
This position involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Pediatric experience is required.
ICU and nutrition support experience is preferred.
The candidate must hold a valid license as a Registered Dietitian in Maryland.
The role requires knowledge of human nutrition and metabolism, as well as the influence of nutrition on specific diseases and conditions.
