Job Full Description Get in on the Ground Floor! Our client, a growing National Recycling Company has opened in Northeast San Antonio and is looking for a Forklift Operator . Pay is $18.50 an hour. Hours are 4pm to 12:30am Monday-Friday with 30-minute lunch. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity. Duties for the Forklift Operator position include:
The Forklift Operator position is a long-term temp to hire opportunity. Hours are 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday with 30-minute lunch. Water, Gatorade and Ice-Pops provided by company. Occasional overtime available on a voluntary basis. Pay is $18.50 an hour. - The Forklift Operator starts as a Production Operator at $16/hr
- The 3 primary duties for production are Sort, Dismantle and Pick
- Sorting electronic and other equipment
- Dismantling equipment using hands and simple hand tools
- Loading Supersacks in Container
- Picking out non-shred items on conveyor line
- Once forklift certified - duties include safe/efficient operation of sit-down forklift
- Forklift pay starts once associate is locally certified and operating forklift
- Strong Forklift Skills and Experience required
- Must be able to listen, understand and follow directions
- Be flexible to work different stations within the production floor
- Be a good team player
- This is a medium lift job that requires some lifting of 20-to-25-pound objects. Max occasional lift is 50 pounds.
