Part Time RN Nurse - Infusion

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled part-time Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in infusion therapy to join our healthcare team in Plano, TX. The RN Nurse - Infusion will be responsible for administering intravenous medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses, and providing high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Administer infusion therapies including IV medications, chemotherapy, and biologics according to physician orders and established protocols. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and side effects during and after infusion treatments. Assess patient condition and document clinical information accurately and timely. Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and post-treatment care. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain infusion equipment and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with best practices in infusion nursing. Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy or related specialty. Certification in infusion nursing (e.g., CRNI) is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. This position is based in Webster, TX, and involves working in a clinical setting with direct patient care.
