Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you’ll support students’ academic and personal growth in partnering public schools. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and track student progress. You’ll also mentor students, lead enrichment and after-school activities, and foster a positive, inclusive climate. City Year offers robust training, coaching, and leadership development in a collaborative, social-justice-focused culture.
