Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (Rotating Shifts) Assignment Duration This is a 13‑week contract position. Schedule Rotating shifts: Day 3x12‑Hour (07:00‑19:30) and Night 3x12‑Hour (19:00‑07:30). Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high‑quality care to adult and geriatric patients. The position involves handling various patient needs, from managing complex conditions to supporting post‑operative recovery. Responsibilities Provide patient care in a fast‑paced Med/Surg Telemetry setting. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Manage wound care, IV lines, and infusion therapy. Educate patients and their families on health management strategies. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required. Current AHA certifications. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred. Experience with telemetry monitoring is an advantage.
