Details 12-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting Cares for patients with acute myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, post-infarction angina, and congestive heart failure High-acuity unit where nearly all patients require cardiac device management Uses cardiac devices including Impella, IABP, ECMO, CRRT, PA catheters, and LVADs Rotating 7A/7P shift schedule Floating required to areas of similar skill set Requirements Active RN license (MD or Compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of current CCU or CVSICU nursing experience required Experience with cardiac equipment such as Impella, IABP, and PA catheters required CRRT experience required Epic EMR experience preferred ECMO experience preferred Critical Care Certification preferred Trauma course completion preferred Experience in a comparable large facility (500 beds) required Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to high-acuity cardiac patients requiring advanced device management Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Strong candidates preferred given the high acuity and complexity of this unit American Traveler Job ID P-770359.
