As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and monitor activity to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document security-related activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization and vehicle entry requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control records, issue and retrieve visitor badges and temporary credentials, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, exits, parking areas, production-adjacent areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
