General Function The Store Manager is an on‑floor leader who guides, coaches, and inspires the team to deliver the Sunglass Hut Experience. This role drives sales, builds brand strength, and maintains operational excellence. Major Duties And Responsibilities Utilize the Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently meet sales plans and company objectives. Develop the store’s strategic plan to achieve financial results. Identify opportunities to drive sales and meet both personal and store goals. Lead by example, coaching, developing, mentoring, and inspiring the team. Promote teamwork and retain talent through a development‑focused environment. Network, recruit, hire, and train associates using onboarding tools. Develop individual plans for team growth. Create an inspirational work environment that reflects brand integrity. Build emotional connections among team members that translate into sales. Spend 100% of time present on the sales floor. Continuously coach for consistent execution of the Sunglass Hut Experience. Develop customer relationships through interaction and feedback. Act as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand. Maintain brand standards and operational policies. Communicate promotions, contests, and incentives to the team. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous leadership experience of 2+ years. Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operations. Detail‑oriented. Critical thinking to deliver operational excellence. Preferred Qualifications Customer service and/or retail experience. Pay and Benefits Employee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. Compensation may include a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, plus a first‑class total rewards package that includes health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts.
