Janitor

We are looking for janitorial staff to join our growing team - This position will float between one of our 40 care homes in Genesee County deep-cleaning our homes and facilities. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform deep cleaning of all areas within AFC homes, including resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways Operate and maintain floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other cleaning equipment Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and buff floors as required Sanitize high-touch surfaces and disinfect all areas to control the spread of bacteria and viruses Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly Follow all health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and company cleaning standards Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential· functions of this job.
